W***y Street Fair Parade is SUNDAY, September 17! To join, simply show up before the parade starts at 11:00 am (I'm shooting for 10:30 am) in front of I/O Arcade Bar. Parking is super tight: recommend riding a bike or leaving extra time for parking! See you then!!!

Meet the instructor, Danielle Lee! Danielle began hooping in 2004, and started teaching hoop dance in 2008. Since then, she has taught regularly in Madison as well as regionally and internationally. She is a founding member of the Madison Circus Space, a 24/7 circus arts facility and nonprofit, where she serves on their board of directors. Danielle is a professional hooper and a certified instructor who lives to teach classes, lead events, perform, and do everything possible to share the transformational joy of hooping.
Through Mad About Hoops- Madison, Danielle helps kids in Dane County find a lifelong love of fitness through hula hoops.

Hoop dance has physical benefits like building strength and coordination, but it also boosts self esteem through learning new skills and practicing positive self talk in an encouraging and supportive environment. Hoop dance strengthens self expression and encourages mindfulness, focus, and being present. Plus, it's a whole lot of fun!
