Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen around a table. 🤍

Thursday morning, parents and grandparents gathered for Parents in Prayer—not because we have all the answers, but because we love these kids deeply, and raising them is some of the most important, beautiful, and sometimes hardest work we’ll ever do.

Janah and Mike Williams shared a devotion that spoke straight into the everyday moments of parenting and grandparenting—the worries we carry quietly, the prayers we whisper, the decisions we second-guess, and the hope we have for who our children are becoming.

And then we prayed.

For their hearts.
For their friendships.
For their faith.
For their futures.
And for the wisdom to love and lead them well in the days we’ve been given.

There was nothing flashy about this morning. Just people who love their children fiercely, sitting together and taking those names and those hopes to God.

This. This is what Parents in Prayer is all about. 🤍🙏

The start of something special. 🤍

Today, our kindergarteners met their Senior Buddies—two classes at very different places in their MA story, but both preparing for a graduation of their own.

Over the months ahead, these little hands will find their way into much bigger ones. They’ll cheer each other on, make memories, and build a friendship that grows right alongside them.

And at the end of the year, one will graduate from kindergarten while the other walks across the stage as a senior. 🥹

Different chapters. One unforgettable year. And a friendship that starts right here.

There are moments when you have to stop and ask yourself: Where am I with God right now?

That was the question our Upper School students were challenged with today. Not where they think they should be. Not where someone else is. But where they are—and what their next step toward Him might look like.

Then, something beautiful happened. Our Spiritual Formation student leaders gathered around their classmates, placed hands on their shoulders, and prayed over them. 🤍

Because growing in faith doesn’t happen all at once. Sometimes it starts with one small next step—and having someone beside you, praying as you take it.

This is what growing together looks like.

Today in chapel, Senior Lukas Hartranft shared a piece of his story… how God led him to Madison Academy and how, along the way, his faith became his own.

From finding his place at MA to growing deeper in his relationship with Christ, Lukas spoke about the people, experiences, and moments that have shaped him into who he is today.

This is what we pray for our students: that MA would be more than a place they attend school, but a place where they are known, challenged, encouraged, and given opportunities to grow boldly in their faith.

Thank you, Lukas, for having the courage to share your story. What a gift it is to watch our students step up and testify to what God is doing in their lives. ❤️
