Day 8 sneaker update, sorry it’s late! (Can you tell we have a Poetry track?)

Day 8 was jam-packed with lectures and meetings. We started off the day with a poetry technique presentation. Later we split up into our generative groups and went over the generative assignment, then lastly, we had a wonderful process presentation and reading by !!!

Day 7, oh goodness there will soon be no more sneakers to post about!

Day 7, field trip to the Morris Museum!!! So many beautiful old instruments!

DAY SIX COOL KICKS

(we’re struggling with the quirky rhymes 😮‍💨)

Day 6 was an experience with dialogue through the eyes of scriptwriting! Stacie Lents led the class in some informative dialogue exercises. Later in the day, we had some student and grad readings, followed by Nicole Melleby reading from an upcoming work of hers and a couple of beautifully written personal essays.

Day 5. Nicole’s in her Blue Period.

Day 5!!! Today started with group workshops and a deep dive into the world of Pedro Páramo by Juan Rulfo led by David Daniel. Then we continued the day with Jennifer Romolini’s teachings on serial podcast writing and ended the night with a reading from her brand new book, Ambition Monster!

Day 4 sneaker check!!! So many cool sneaks today, can you tell which one is ?

Day 4 brought us an incredible and extensive breakdown of querying by the lovely Amanda Ramirez, and even more student readings!
