This month we are learning about the ocean and ocean animals. Here’s a few of the sensory bin set ups. And yes, before anyone says anything about the water beads, I do closely monitor that sensory table to make sure no one puts them in their mouths. I currently have all 3-5 year olds so I really don’t have to worry too much about kids ingesting them.
The water beads would not be ideal for kids under 3. We have some ocean crafts to do and TONS of books about the ocean. The ocean is one of my favorite things so I love this theme. There is so much we don’t know about it!

We are starting our bird theme week at daycare. Starting off with a sensory table of bird seed. Also doing some color sorting with birds, and practicing fine motor skills by pulling worms out of the grass with tweezers. Lots more activities to come throughout the week.

Nothing says SUMMER better than a lemonade stand! The kids are going to have fun playing in this sensory bin this week.
