Mad Agriculture is hiring a Wilding Manager. The Wilding Manager will work directly with farmers and landowners in Wisconsin’s Driftless Region to build trust-based relationships and bring regenerative land management projects to life. This position combines ecological expertise, farm financial analysis, and project coordination to help landowners transition marginal acres into perennial systems and wildlife habitat, while connecting them to funding through USDA programs and emerging ecosystem service markets.

North Central Region SARE Graduate Student Grant Call for Proposals is now OPEN! NCR-SARE’s Grant Program is a competitive grant program to fund graduate student projects that address sustainable agriculture issues. A candidate may only receive one NCR-SARE Graduate Student award during her/his graduate student career.
- Graduate Student Grant awards can be up to $20,000.
- Projects may last up to 36 months.
- About 20 projects are funded each year. In 2025, NCR-SARE received 132 proposals and selected 22 proposals for funding.
