To prepare for the start of the 2026-2027 school year, staff from Madison Central School District and Stockbridge Valley Central School came together for a day of professional development, collaboration and inspired learning as part of Superintendent’s Conference Day Sept. 2.

The exciting day began with trainings at Stockbridge, including teachers and administrators from both districts teaming with with Madison-Oneida BOCES Staff Development to help staff learn about the new framework and vision for the New York State Education Department Portrait of a Graduate initiative.

All staff then came together to enjoy lunch as a group at Madison, followed by an inspirational session by special guest Manley Feinberg II, an award-winning international keynote speaker. Feinberg’s keynote address topic, Exponential Commitment, helped staff leave energized, engaged, and motivated for the year ahead!

📅Connected Madison mark your calendars for an exciting night filled with fun and food at the Back to School Picnic‼ TOMORROW September 1st at 4:30pm. 🏫You’re invited to come enjoy a free dinner, bounce houses🏠, Dan the Snake Man🐍, and over 20 community partners with family fun activities and program information! Open House follows from 5:30-6:30pm where families can bring supplies, meet your teacher, and see your classroom! See you there!! 👋

SAVE THE DATE: The 2026 Madison Central School Community Picnic and Open House will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1!

We welcome families to join us as we celebrate the start of a new school year, beginning with a community picnic from 4:30-5:30 p.m. to enjoy food, activities, and learn more about community resources. Open House will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and provide an opportunity to meet Madison teachers and staff.
