Do you have a slogan for the new year? Or have you picked a word, or a verse from the Bible to focus on? The beauty of picking a theme/slogan/word is it gives you a focus and can be an inspiration. And it doesn't need to make sense or mean anything to anyone else but YOU.
I have picked mine. Again and Again. Here is how it plays out ...
And again... I will choose joy. And again... I will return to hope. And again... I will be grateful. And again... I will look for the good. And again... I will pray for those who are hurting, lonely, sick, in need. And again... I will choose to sing. And again... I will listen and try to understand. And again... I will look up.
Again and Again. You get the idea.
"Hope in God; for I shall again Praise Him." Psalm 42:5
Share with me what your slogan/theme/word is for 2022.

So much beauty all around - slow down - soak it in - give thanks.
What brings you joy? Sipping coffee, taking a hike, sitting by a stream, chatting with a friend, writing in your journal? How long has it been since you have done that which brings you joy? Make time for it TODAY!

The beauty in letting go - in seasons changing - in the steadfast love of our Creator God.
"But watch out! Be careful never to forget what you yourself have seen. Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren." Deuteronomy 4:9 NLT
How do you go about not forgetting... how do you remember? I have found journaling what takes place, what I'm feeling or thinking or experiencing to be the best way to remember.

What are you thankful for today? How will you remember? Write it down!

The best way to remember is to write - take time to reflect on the goodness of God and the marvelous things he has done in your life.
