Hear ye, hear ye! Medieval Game Day is back!
Do you need a break from studying, writing, grading, or any combination of the above? Then join us in Helen C. White Hall 6191 on May 3rd from 2-6pm for an afternoon of medieval-themed gaming and conversation! This semester's game day will feature a presentation and discussion with Dr. Robin Rider of UW's Archives and Special Collections about her experience collecting and analyzing board games, that "Most Agreeable and Rational Recreation", within the archives. Q&A will follow, along with a plethora of medieval-themed and recreated games!

Congratulations to the two recipients of this year's Lemoine Midelfort Fellowships! The fellowship is intended to assist a dissertator at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with travel or other expenses that will allow significant advancement towards completion of the dissertation on a medieval topic.
