🚨 WEATHER ALERT: EARLY DISMISSAL TODAY (BEGINNING AT 1:00 PM) 🚨

Due to the incoming weather forecasted to impact our community during dismissal times, we will be dismissing early today starting at 1:00 PM.

Middle and high school students currently have access to their cell phones to coordinate plans with families.

Here is what you need to know by building level:

🏫 Elementary Buildings & Early Childhood Center
Pickup: Parent, guardian, or emergency contact pickup is required.
Bussing: NO bus service will be provided for elementary students today.

🏫 Page Middle School
Pickup: Parent, guardian, or emergency contact pickup is required by default.
Bus / Walkers: If you want your child released to ride the bus or walk home, please email Jill Fisher ([email protected]) or call the front office at (248) 589-3428.

🏫 Lamphere High School
Bussing: Students will be dismissed and bussed home at 1:00 PM.
Pickup: If you want your child to wait at LHS for pickup, please notify them directly or call the front office at (248) 589-3943.

⚽ After-School Activities & Athletics
Page Middle School: ALL after-school activities are canceled today.

Lamphere High School: Scheduled games will be played as scheduled after the weather system passes.

Yesterday, Lamphere and Oakland Schools celebrated Edmonson secretary Amy Cooper as this year’s Oakland County Betty Campion Support Person of the Year recipient!

Amy was surprised with the award during her lunch—we didn't even wait for her to finish her bite of food before presenting it! It was a wonderful moment of recognition for someone who gives so much to others.

The Betty Campion Award recognizes staff members who demonstrate exceptional dedication, compassion, and service while making a lasting impact on their school community. As Edmonson’s building secretary, Amy is often the first person students and families see each day. Colleagues and students describe her as “the heart of the school,” citing her kindness, calm presence, and unwavering positivity.

Whether she is comforting a student, supporting a family, or keeping the office running smoothly, Amy consistently goes above and beyond. Please join us in congratulating Amy on this incredible and well-deserved honor!
