There are a TON of other CPL classes out there.

YOLO FI****MS ACADEMY IS DIFFERENT AND BETTER!

What Makes Us Different and Better?

MOST CPL CLASSES DON'T INCLUDE EVERYTHING IN THE COST!
Everything is included at YOLO Fi****ms Academy with no hidden or undisclosed costs. We offer the BEST class at the BEST price! Range time, am******on, fi***rm, materials, snacks and beverages are all provided. No nickel-and-dime tactics and no bait and switch.

MOST CPL CLASSES DON'T TEACH YOU VERY MUCH!
There are certain criteria that the law requires a CPL course must cover, and almost all other classes only cover the bare minimum. Not at YOLO Fi****ms Academy! We go deep both at the range and at the classroom! Nobody does it like us!

MOST CPL CLASSES DON'T GIVE YOU ONE-ON-ONE ATTENTION!
At the range, we provide over a dozen closely-guided defensive shooting drills. In the classroom, we don't spend our time watching videos. We dive deep into both the theory and practice of concealed carry and armed self-defense with a legal segment that encourages discussion and Q&A.

MOST CPL CLASSES HAVE OVER 20 STUDENTS!
Most other CPL classes have you in a large group of 20-30 students, with much of that time watching videos. At YOLO, you will experience individual attention, both in the classroom and at the range, with our small class sizes so you can get the training and guidance you absolutely need!

MOST CPL CLASSES DON'T HELP YOU AFTER YOUR CLASS IS COMPLETED!
We are here to help you even after you have completed our course! We offer post-course support and guidance as well as exclusive follow-up range training for students who have completed our course.

Learn how to protect yourself and your family the RIGHT WAY!

Lesson: Don't go to gas stations at night.

I was in the middle of getting gas when this happened... I was trai...

05/30/2026

Be aware of your surroundings at all times!

Had a bizarre, unreal experience at the BP gas station in Mount Clemens last night on my way home from picking up a pizza for dinner.

As I was finishing getting gas and getting in my car to leave, an unknown man sitting nearby (presumably a homeless vagrant) apparently decides to open my passenger door and gets inside to sit in my passenger seat!

I start yelling at him to get the hell out of my effing car but he refused and kept uttering nonsense to me, holding a switchblade up in his hand pointing at me, with his other hand rummaging through the items of my car console.

I quickly got out of my car to call 9-1-1 as he stayed in my car and within a minute or two police units were arriving to the scene. By this time the unknown man did exit my vehicle, thought he was gonna nonchalantly walk away with a can of air freshener he pilfered from my glove box, but before he got too far, the police officers were right up on him, and proceeded to apprehend and arrest him.

I got my air freshener back, but had to reorder a new pizza because it was cold by this time and had my new friend’s feet stepping all over it as he was sitting uninvitingly in my car for this unforgettable time and stop at the BP gas station. Ugh!

Thank you once more to the brave men and women in blue at the Mount Clemens police station for doing your duty serving and protecting the community (and me).
