"Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ ‘If you ˹sincerely˺ love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’" (Qur'an 3:31)

The Sunnah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ is the lived expression of divine guidance. It is the practical manifestation of the Qur'an in human form. When we follow his wayﷺ, we embody Islam, we breathe it, we live it in every moment.

Let us ask ourselves: How can we follow him more closely today? What is one thing from his ﷺ sunnah, however small, that we can commit to implementing in our lives today?

May Allah bless our master Muhammad ﷺ, and allow us to follow his sunnah in every way

Every Prophet called people to Allah.

But Allah ﷻ decreed that through the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, more hearts would be guided than through all of the prophets before him combined.

“And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.” (21:107)

From the deserts of Arabia to every corner of the earth, his light ﷺ continues to guide millions — centuries after his passing.

No human being has transformed more lives.
No call has reached more hearts.
No mercy has spread further.

A man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, “O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who loves a people but his deeds do not compare to theirs?” The Prophet said, “A person will be with those whom he loves.”

May Allah fill our hearts with love for Him, His Messenger ﷺ, his family, his Companions, and the righteous. May He gather us in their company in this life and in the Hereafter.

Allah the Exalted tells His Beloved Messenger ﷺ to inform us of the ways we should express our joy. He says ﷻ, [O Prophet] say, “In Allah’s grace and mercy let them rejoice. That is far better than whatever [wealth] they amass.” [Quran 10:58] And there is no greater blessing and mercy than the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing of Allah be upon him.

Please join us on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM Eastern for Al-Maqasid’s Annual Loving the Beloved Celebration ﷺ commemorating the gift of mercy and guidance in the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Our program will include counsels that are aimed at connecting the listener to the Prophet ﷺ, his Sunna, and his teachings. The more we know about his life, character, and way, the more we will come to love and follow the one beloved to Allah.

We will be joined by esteemed guests Dr. Shadee Elmasry, M***i Hussain Kamani, Shaykh Ismail Bowers, Shaykh Yahya Rhodus, & Ustadh Amjad Tarsin

Alongside the Mawlid talks, we will have children's activities, followed by Maghrib prayer and dinner.
