The Devine School Macungie had a Summer Camp Talent show ! The children orchestrated a talent show from the lineup to the solo,trio and group acts. We are super proud of the summer campers ! 🎤🎙️🗣️👯‍♀️💃

Yesterday, the Brookside summer campers explored Da Vinci Science Center for their final field trip of the summer! They learned about everything from animals to the human body, simple machines, and more!

🐞🐛🪲The Devine School Macungie Preschool Classroom was searching for some really cool items! 🐞🐛🪲

The video below shows some of our preschool friends learning how to explore kinetic sand to find small creatures! Playing with kinetic sand teaches children fine motor control, sensory processing. Squeezing, slicing, and molding the sand builds hand strength for writing, while the tactile flow provides a calming, emotionally regulating experience. I would say they had a bug-tastic time!

💙🫧 Foam Party Fun at Devine - Brookside🫧💙

What an incredible day of laughter, learning, and making memories! From our tiniest infants to our energetic summer campers (and yes… even our directors!), everyone joined in on the foam-filled fun!

While it looked like just a big bubble party, our children were learning through play every step of the way. Foam play encourages:
🫧 Sensory exploration
🤲 Fine and gross motor development
👫 Social interaction and teamwork
🎨 Creativity and imaginative play
😊 Confidence as children explore new experiences in a fun, safe environment

There is nothing better than watching smiles spread across every age group as friendships grow and unforgettable memories are made. We believe some of the best learning happens when children are having fun—and today was the perfect example!

Thank you to our amazing staff for jumping in (literally!) and making Thursday such a special experience for all of our little learners. 💙

A big thank you to all of our parents who stopped by last week for our Meet & Greet to welcome our new Center Director, Alyssa Johnson to the Brookside family!

The warm welcome from our families, staff, and children has been incredible, and we couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter at Brookside. We look forward to all the great things ahead as we continue working together to provide an amazing experience for our children and families.
