The Dream Academy website reports two year’s worth of educational research? What were the findings from this research? Where and how was this research collected?

Why try to take a historical pillar of the community and rename it without paying any homage to the founders and it’s leaders?

How do you think the family of Lewis Henry Williams would feel?

How do you think the daughter of Burney G. Lester will feel when she is no longer able to come and give an award to the students in honor of her dad and all of his hard work? What curriculum will you follow?

Who chose the curriculum and what are their credentials?

Who and how will teacher effectiveness be measured?

How will you integrate technology?

With opening so soon, who have you hired thus far?

Will all teachers be certified with a clear and renewable certificate?

Will you make public the governing board and their credentials before school starts?

The Pleasant Hill neighborhood is reminded of a dream gone wrong with Macon Charter School. Why not use that building?

Does the Redding family stand to profit from this school?

If the Redding family wants to make a difference with education, can you please describe how you have supported students in the past?

Have you ever supported the students at L.H. Williams?

If you care about the kids and want to help them, why not be partners in education with the community because educating children is no easy task?

Has any other the governing board visited L.H. Williams so that they can better understand their potential students? So they can understand the culture and climate that is about to be uprooted?

The Pleasant Hill community is small.
Have you talked to them to see what are their thoughts because, for a small community, the residents have posted more than 500 signatures expressing their hope to keep L.H. Williams as it is?

We think it is great that the family of music legend, Otis Redding, want to honor his legacy...but what about those shown in this pic? What about their legacy? Who will remember them since our families don't have superstar power or money?
