Founder & Executive Director LeAnthony Freeman, Chief Development Officer Jaz Vick, Chief Fundraising Officer John Williams, and our Youth Ambassador Jalen Aliyu—bridging generations, building systems of opportunity, and answering the call to lead with courage, love, and responsibility.

At our MLK Event, we were deeply honored to be led by our predecessors—Mr. Willie, who faithfully chaired the MLK Day Committee and carried the vision with purpose and precision, and Rev. Brown, who opened us in powerful prayer, grounding the room in faith, unity, and remembrance.

Together, their leadership reminded us that movements are built on both structure and spirit—on hands that organize the work and hearts that consecrate the mission. Every moment stood as a testament to the ground they’ve broken and the path they continue to clear for generations to come.

Proud to uplift Jalen Aliyu, our MLK Youth Speaker, whose voice carried both conviction and clarity beyond his years. A scholar-leader and emerging community advocate, Jalen is known for his commitment to academic excellence, civic engagement, and using his platform to speak truth to power.

Whether in the classroom, in leadership spaces, or in the community, Jalen represents a generation that doesn’t just inherit the work—they advance it. His message reminded us that Dr. King’s legacy lives strongest in young leaders who choose courage, service, and responsibility every day.

At our MLK Day gathering, MJ Smith publicly honored Chuck Henderson as her rock—lifting up the quiet strength, consistency, and shared vision that carried the room and guided the day. At our MLK Community Prayer, elders, youth, and leaders stood shoulder to shoulder, lifting Macon, our children, and generations yet to come. We left grounded in faith, strengthened by unity, and committed to carrying this work forward—together.
