Our GEAR UP students recently participated in Accuplacer testing at CGTC, and it was inspiring to see parents, families, and students encouraging one another every step of the way. Moments like these remind us that success is built through community, support, and perseverance.

Over Spring Break, our GEAR UP students from had an unforgettable hands-on learning experience at the Sloomoo Institute Atlanta!

Our 7th and 8th grade scholars explored creativity and science through interactive slime activities, turning learning into a fun, engaging experience. Some even took part in being slimed!

We’re proud of our students for choosing to spend part of their break learning, growing, and representing GEAR UP with excellence.

Our GEAR UP students from Ballard Hudson Middle School had an incredible spring break experience during their field trip to the Sloomoo Institute! Seventh and eighth graders explored hands-on, interactive exhibits that sparked creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning beyond the classroom. Experiences like this are what GEAR UP is all about—exposing students to new environments and inspiring future pathways.

GEARing UP to Build Financial Futures!

Rutland Middle School students recently participated in engaging Financial Literacy Workshops designed to increase their financial awareness and prepare them for real-world success!

A huge thank you to United Way and Cadence Bank for partnering with us to provide these impactful sessions. Students learned valuable skills such as budgeting, saving, and making smart financial decisions—tools that will benefit them for a lifetime.
