Destiny Curry, proud daughter of LaNetrice Curry and oldest of five, has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout high school, earning the title of Valedictorian. A mentor to many, she balanced academic excellence with extensive involvement in cheerleading, Beta Club, National English Honor Society, Upward Bound Math and Science, SkillsUSA, Mock Trial, Student Advisory, SGA, and more.

Destiny was named Usher’s New Look National Disruptivator of the Year in 2024, earned UGA Certificate of Merit recognition, completed dual enrollment at Central Georgia Technical College and Spelman College, and discovered her passion for education through her work at Brantley’s Busy Bees.

Loymiela Thomas graduates as the Class of 2026 Salutatorian, recognized for her academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to service. Quiet yet determined, she is known for her resilience and consistency. She challenged herself through dual enrollment at Central Georgia Technical College and Spelman College while maintaining a 3.98 GPA and earning honors such as STAR Student.

Deeply connected to her community, she founded the Voices of Wisdom Initiative, linking students with nursing home residents. She has supported local efforts through United Way and other service work. Loymiela is active in the Georgia Student Advisory Council, SkillsUSA, FBLA, and DECA, and has gained experience as a CNA and student teller.

Jeffery Alexander, a proud member of the Class of 2026, has maintained an impressive 3.985 GPA while excelling in academics, leadership, and personal growth. As SGA President, he has represented his peers with confidence and purpose while remaining active in organizations such as Beta Club, SkillsUSA, the Alpha Esquires Program, and Middle Georgia State University’s Upward Bound program. He was also a member of the Southwest football team.

Outside of school, Jeffery is the creator of his clothing brand, Guilty Apparel, showcasing his entrepreneurial mindset and creativity. Focused and self-motivated, he values consistency, growth, and building a successful future for himself.

Trinity Veal, a proud member of the Class of 2026, has maintained an impressive 3.9 GPA and will graduate fourth in her class. Known for her focus and determination, Trinity has balanced academic excellence with involvement in athletics, including cheerleading, flag football, volleyball, and softball. Widely recognized as the “flipper” of Southwest, she brought energy and spirit to every space she entered.

Beyond athletics, Trinity has dedicated time to volunteering and mentoring younger students. She values growth, confidence, and independence, always striving to become a better version of herself while staying true to who she is

My’kel Henley, a distinguished member of the Class of 2026, has maintained an impressive 3.867 GPA while balancing academics, athletics, and leadership. A football player and track athlete, he is known for his discipline, resilience, and strong work ethic.

Beyond athletics, My’kel has been active in Beta Club, SkillsUSA, Alpha Esquires, Upward Bound, and Young Men’s League. As a tutor and young entrepreneur, he reflects responsibility, ambition, and a commitment to continuous growth.

A’deja Brown is a graduating senior known for her focus, consistency, and dedication to excellence. She has challenged herself through dual enrollment courses while remaining active in Beta Club and the National Honor Society. Ranked among the top ten students in her class, A’deja’s success reflects her discipline and determination.

A’deja values hard work, perseverance, and continuous growth. She is committed to pushing herself toward new goals and embracing opportunities that will prepare her for future success.
