Bryson had 2 carries for 41 yards, 4 receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown, 1 punt return for a 51 yard touchdown. On the night, he totaled 209 yards and 2 touchdowns, in his team's 33-14 win over Central Fellowship Christian Academy. Our alumni are spread far and wide across the country — and indeed, around the world.

But beginning January 1, 2027, our U.S. alumni, friends and supporters will have a brand-new way to pay it forward for the next generation of SPCCS scholars.

Eligible taxpayers can receive a dollar-for-dollar federal income tax credit of up to $1,700 for a qualifying contribution supporting K–12 scholarships.

In other words: instead of simply paying those dollars in federal income tax, you may be able to put them to work opening the doors of opportunity for a child.

A little information. A few clicks. A very big impact.

Today, we remember all who were lost on September 11 and honor the first responders who ran toward danger to serve others.

We remember especially Fr. Mychal Judge, OFM, the beloved fire chaplain fondly known as the “Saint of 9/11” and recorded as its first official casualty.

We hold his Franciscan brothers close in prayer, especially our beloved friars here in Macon who knew and loved him. May they, and we all, find comfort in the courage, compassion and faith with which Fr. Mychal lived, and in the countless lives his witness continues to touch and bless.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate the Feast of St. Peter Claver, our school’s namesake and the patron saint of racial justice and ministry to African Americans.

More than four centuries ago, St. Peter Claver dedicated his life to serving enslaved Africans arriving in Cartagena, Colombia, meeting cruelty with compassion and recognizing the God-given dignity of every person.

His witness still speaks to us. At St. Peter Claver Catholic School, we strive to carry his mission forward by educating minds, opening hearts and teaching every child to live with Compassion, Attention, Respect and Excellence.

May St. Peter Claver inspire us to see Christ in one another, to stand beside those whose dignity is denied and to use our lives in the service of love and justice.

St. Peter Claver, pray for us. ❤️💛
