It has been a busy harvest season in Noxubee County. Corn harvest has been going for a few weeks. Now Soybean harvest is getting underway. Our office was able to assist in certifying 6 fields this week for the soybean yield challenge contest through the MSPB. We are looking forward to seeing how this yield data turns out for our county.

🌟 Noxubee County 4-H Volunteers Growing as Leaders! 🌟

Our Noxubee County 4-H Volunteers were proud to participate in the Mississippi 4-H Volunteer Leaders’ Association North Forum held on the beautiful campus of Mississippi State University! 💚💪

Throughout the forum, our volunteers participated in a variety of educational workshops designed to strengthen their leadership, communication, teamwork, and 4-H knowledge. 📚👏

The knowledge and skills they gained will not stay in Starkville—they are bringing them back home to Noxubee County to help make an even greater difference in the lives of our 4-H’ers! 💚

Strong volunteers help build strong 4-H programs. We are grateful for our dedicated volunteers who continue to learn, grow, lead, and serve—not only for the benefit of Noxubee County 4-H, but for young people throughout Mississippi! 🍀

Thank you, Noxubee County 4-H Volunteers , for investing in yourselves so you can continue investing in our youth!

A special “Thank You“to our presenters, Volunteers, Extension Agents, 4-H Ambassadors, 4-H Parents, and to Dr. Mariah Morgan and the Center for 4-H Youth Development Staff for all their efforts to make this event a success!

Our Noxubee County Mississippi Community Volunteers (Formerly Mississippi Homemaker Volunteers) recently spent some time at the Mississippi Community Volunteers State Council Meeting held on the campus of Mississippi State University.

Volunteers participated in workshops on healthy living, air fryer cooking, photography, salt-free spice blends, diamond painting, Magnolia wreath making, and recycling. They learned how one person can make a difference and leave a lasting legacy in their community.

We are also proud to announce Noxubee County Members received ten Blue Ribbon awards in the State Cultural Arts Competition, including one Best of Show honor!

Congratulations to our volunteers for representing Noxubee County so well and for their continued commitment to serving others and strengthening our community.
