NEWSFLASH!

Macon JAG was awarded a $500 Community Service Grant through the Former First Lady Teresa Parson Initiatives. Our goal is to provide at least two families with the food necessary to prepare a Thanksgiving Dinner.

We are holding a canned food drive November 3rd - November 21st. Please bring Thanksgiving Style non-perishable items to the Macon High School Office or contact your favorite Macon JAG member to schedule a pickup during that time period.

Thanks to all of your support we had an overflowing cart of donation items and over $700 headed to uplift our community! 🧡

For anyone also wanting to offer help or receive it, here are hours for Macon County Ministries Food Pantry, located at 305 Sunset Hills Dr.:
Monday: 10am-12pm
Tuesday: 1pm-3pm (may differ next week for Veteran’s Day)
Wednesday: 10am-12pm
Thursday: 1pm-3pm
Friday: 10am-12pm

MHS JAG also has a current Thanksgiving drive going on - we will share their info!

Entry is $2 or 2 canned food items - this is a great time to clear out your pantries and provide extra support to Our community if you are able!! Every bit of proceeds will go straight to our local food pantry. Lots of families could use the extra support at this time of the year. 🧡 all
