❤️🖤STATE COMPETITION 2025❤️🖤

Yesterday, our Competition Team took the mat at State, and got 7th out of 12! I have never been more proud. Against 12 incredible teams, these 11 girls gave it everything they had… and they HIT ZERO! 🙌 Every stunt, every tumbling pass, every motion excuted. They looked absolutely amazing!

We are the smallest team out there with just 11 girls compared to other teams with 16, some even with boys. But what we lack in numbers, we more than make up for in heart. ❤️ These girls have worked tirelessly all season, pushing through frustration, self-doubt, and recently injuries. Week after week, they showed up ready to improve, to challenge themselves, and to chase that next score.

Yesterday, they decided to leave it all on the mat. They remembered Coach Collier’s words, “It isn’t about us.” And they performed with purpose, passion, and pride. They used every ounce of the talent and determination that God gave them, and did it all for His Glory. 🙏🏻

This team embodies everything I love about coaching: grit, grace, and heart. I am beyond proud of each and every one of them. Braelynn, Lillie Grace, Ella, Ellie, Parker, Livi, Luci King, Leah, Peyton, Lainey Kate, and Tilley…thank you for being you!

Way to go, girls! You made your coach, your school, and your community SO proud! ❤️🖤

Hey Vikings!

This Saturday, our FPD Varsity Competition Cheer Team is heading to STATE! 🙌

They’ve worked incredibly hard this season, raising their scores by more than 16 points and proving that heart and teamwork matter more than size. (We’re one of the smallest teams competing with just 11 girls, but they’ve held their own against teams of 16!)

This year, the STATE competition is close to home at Tattnall Square Academy, so let’s show up and make some noise! A loud, proud FPD crowd can make a HUGE difference for the team’s energy.

Here’s what you need to know:
📍 Location: Tattnall Square Academy
🕙 Doors open: 10:00 a.m.
⏰ Start time: 11:00 a.m.
🎉 FPD competes: around 12:10 p.m.

There will be a special FPD fan section when our girls take the floor, so come decked out in red and black, bring your school spirit, and help us cheer them on to victory!
