Mercer University Opportunity Scholars This is a page for current and former Opportunity Scholars at Mercer University

•Enable you to gain a one-hour college credit for your week-long opportunity scholar experience,
•Provide you with the chance to get acquainted with your new Mercer campus family before the mad rush of orientation,
•Enable you to meet and get to know important campus personnel,
•Give you a basic knowledge and skills to help you successfully begin your Mercer career,
•Give you’re a head start in learning information to help in your academic career choices,
•Enable you to make lasting friendships during recreational and social activities,
•Provide cultural enrichment experiences that help you understand the variety of activities and opportunities in Macon available to you, and
•Provide Pell recipients the opportunities to be placed in a pool to be considered for Student Support Services College Completion Grants/Scholarships.
