Grab-and-go sack lunches will be available for all children on Tuesday, September 22.

Meals may be picked up at the front of each school from 10:00–11:00 a.m. while supplies last. Each location will have a limited number of meals available.

Due to continued water service issues in town, all Jones County schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, September 22.

Our facilities team remains in close contact with the City of Gray. While our goal is always to have students in school, reliable water service is necessary to operate safely. Please be on the lookout for information from your teachers about a fun challenge. We appreciate your patience and will share updates as soon as they are available.

Ranchers Release the Hounds!

The Jones County Middle School XC Team came home with hardware AGAIN after another great day on the course!

The girls brought home the 1st place team trophy, while the boys earned 2nd place overall!

Raider Rumble complete! 💛

So proud of our girls and the way they showed up today at West Laurens! They continue to work hard, grow each week, and give us so much to be proud of. Watching this team come together and gain confidence every time they hit the mat has been so special.

We’re taking everything we learned today and getting right back to work because we aren’t finished yet! 💪🏼

Morning band practice has quickly become one of my favorite parts of the day.

There’s something pretty special about watching our 7th and 8th grade band members introduce themselves to our brand-new 6th graders, sit beside them, answer their questions, help with fingerings and notes, and encourage them through all those first sounds. 🥹

Yes, we’re learning instruments. Yes, we’re learning music. But we’re also learning how to encourage each other, how to lead, and how to make sure everyone has a place where they belong.

It may sound a little cliché, but I’ll say it anyway: we’re not just growing a band in this Band Room…we’re growing a family.

And hearing those older students say, “Come sit with me. I’ll help you!” might just be my favorite sound we make. 🎺🥁🎷🎶

Ms. Cicalese’s Computer Programming classes celebrated the end of a successful first six weeks with a little extra Snap, Crackle & Pop in honor of National Rice Krispies Treat Day! (September 18)

Because after six weeks of coding, problem-solving, debugging, and making those computers cooperate… we think they definitely earned a treat!
