9-(15&16)-26. Our first full nights back at Street to Success. The girls night went great. The girls were working on a project that I have come up with to help some kindergarten students tie their shoes. We cut out cardboard to look like shoes and then punch holes in it for shoelaces and painted the shoes. Each girl giving her unique design. As you see, they turned out really well and I look forward to having a class on tying shoes. Boys night was excellent. Lots of new Tutors from Mercer Rotary Club.
We started off with a tough one. Three paragraphs one about what they did this summer one about how school is going so far and the last one is about the future. Looking forward to to seeing these young people‘s lives change. Our motto is “hard-working study”period. The only way out of poverty is education.

The last two weeks we spent at Camp Grace. The first week was teenagers 13 to 17 years old. The second week was youth 7 to 12 years old as you can see in the pictures. Camp Grace is a phenomenal place. A place for kids growing up in South Macon in poverty in just difficult situations a chance to be a kid. Wednesday was feet washing night and I can only say the Spirit moved in a mighty way. They learned about Jesus all week and on Thursday night 30 children from the first week and 40 children on Thursday the second week gave their lives to Christ. The first week we baptized five children and this week we baptized over 30 children. The camp counselors were amazing. The instructions were solid and truth and the food was delicious. Dave Pridemore and Courtney Davis of Camp Grace are just extra special people with their leadership over 1500 children were able to go to camp this year. Kids came from South Carolina ,Atlanta, Macon and surrounding communities. Buses came from Augusta, North Atlanta ,Hilton head and Beaufort, South Carolina. As Street to Success prepares for this coming school year, we ask for Prayer and resources to provide a place for these children to receive the escape plan they need to escape poverty. 7-9-26. Our second week at Camp Grace is turning out to be a phenomenal week for the kids. Even though it is so hot, they are still having so much fun. We make sure that they each have their water bottles full of water and are encouraging hydration. Today is a very important day at Camp Grace. All the teachings from Pastor Dave come to Head and the child is giving an opportunity to give their life to Christ. I see so many ready to surrender. If you read this before 7 o’clock tonight pray for us .

6-29;7-3 2026. Our first week of camp at Camp Grace. What a beautiful week watching kids be kids having fun hearing the gospel in a clear message. Four of our teenagers gave their life to Christ this week. Watching the rest become more rooted in Christ. Pray for our young people for direction for obedience for serving.

4-16-26 Blessing alert!! We’ve been upgraded. Robins Federal Credit Union came and put an upgrade on our computers. John Cozart, Ziggy and his team came and replaced all our old computers. We now have a state of the art computer lab. Plus a couple of notebooks to manage our facility. We cannot thank them enough for investing in the kids in South Macon .

3-22-26. Cherry blossom parade you just couldn’t ask for better weather. We got our annual pictures with the mayor and the sheriff. Nathaniel Walker brought his brand new pick up truck. We decorated it and got it cherry blossom certified. We had our signs and our banners, and we took off walking the parade. The crowds were fantastic. You can certainly tell everybody was out to enjoy the day. We are always blessed to be part of the cherry blossom week. So everybody get on Downtown this week and enjoy.

2-11-26. It’s black history month. Our assignment this month is to prepare a presentation. Each child will pick a local iconic African-American figure and do a deep dive research into that person. At the end of the month each one will give a 10 minute presentation on their subject. Amazingly enough, there was no pushback. They were eager to get on the computer and dive in. We are so looking forward to hearing their presentations. The girls will be on 24th of February and the boys will be on the 25th.

1-16:18-26. What a fantastic weekend we had at Camp Grace. We took 18 teenagers out to Camp Grace for a recharge weekend. They had a lot of activities games ,Bible study ,quiet moments reflection with Hope. I know people have heard the term it’s like herding cats to get all these teenagers in one place. Nevertheless, we persevered, and we all overcame. And to wrap up our last day, we all woke up to snow falling in the camp. When we arrived back,close to the gym, we saw some fireman standing outside their station playing in the snow. So I was quick to pull over and told them all to get out and throw snowballs at them. I don’t know who had more fun, but it was a joy to see. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
