The Brothers of Georgia Gamma would like to congratulate one of our own, Brother Austin Deray (class of ‘10) on being appointed as General Headquarters’ first ever Diversity and Inclusion Commissioner! As Commissioner, Brother Deray will be responsibility for overseeing all educational programming, policy recommendations, and communication efforts related to diversity and inclusion initiatives on behalf of Phi Delta Theta. We’re proud of Brother Deray for representing Georgia Gamma so highly, and are looking forward to all he does as Commissioner! As always, Proud to be a Phi!!

The Brothers of Phi Delta Theta’s Georgia Gamma chapter firmly support the dignity and worth of every human being. This is regardless of one's religion, one’s sexual orientation, and one’s racial background. Like so many, we feel deeply for the struggles of those in the Black community, individuals who society has continually failed to protect. These are people we are honored to call our Brothers, our friends, our fellow Mercerians, and our fellow human beings. With recent events, the Brothers of Phi Delta Theta are fighting for those in the black community and showing our support in whatever way we can — with our words, with our pocketbooks and with our prayers.
Fraternities and Sororities have not always been bastions of diversity. We understand that all fraternities — including our own — still can do more to be more inclusive and responsive to the needs of those in the black community. These are conversations that we are already having and are committed to having going forward. But with all the rightful outrage we are seeing fill into the street, we feel it is necessary to enter the 2020-2021 school year with a reaffirmed commitment towards making our fraternity, our school and our world safer and more welcoming for those in the black community.
As such, while attention to the cause may be disappearing from your newsfeed, the Brothers of Georgia Gamma want to still remind you that the work towards making the world a safer place for the black community is nowhere near done.

Here at Georgia Gamma we’re no stranger to success! We’d like to congratulate Brother John-Allen Stone on winning Outstanding Fraternity Man of the Year as well as Chapter Sweetheart Madeline Albritton on winning Outstanding Sorority Senior of the Year! Our accomplishments don’t end there, as Brothers Thomas, Duvall, and Faist were also inducted into the Order of Omega! Stay safe y’all, and as always, Proud to be a Phi!!

While the school year may not have ended the way we wanted, we’re glad we were able to make so many cherished memories with the Senior class over the past four years. Becky, Morgan, Julia, Madeline, Matt, Ali, Pat, Jake, Trevor, Nate, and Max; the Brothers of Georgia Gamma are thankful for everything y’all have done for this Chapter.
