TEAM MACON UPDATE🐅
Macon R-1 School District is excited to celebrate Mrs. Ashlie Meisner's new position at Macon Area Career and Technical Education Center!
"My name is Ashlie Meisner. I am a graduate of Macon High School and hold degrees from the University of Missouri and the University of Central Missouri in Elementary Education, Library and Information Sciences, and Technology in Schools. I also have certification in 9-12 Business Education. I have spent the last 21 years in Elementary Education, 17 of which in the MES Library. I also serve as the Varsity Cheer Coach at Macon High School.
My husband, Josh, is an attorney in Macon and Clark Counties. Together we have two daughters, Adalyn and Macie. Adalyn will be a freshman at UCM-Warrensburg this fall and will also be on the cheer team! Macie will be a sophomore at MHS. She is a cheerleader and a golfer. We are a Macon Tiger Family, through and through!"
"For the upcoming school year, I am excited for a new adventure working with MHS/MACTEC students as the Work Based Learning Program Advisor. I am thrilled to help build this program in our District from the ground up! My role will be to teach employability skills and connect students to internships within their career path. I am really looking forward to helping seniors prepare for life after high school!"
