It says so much...
Parenthood is a lot harder than I thought it would be, but isn't it the hard things that end up being the most rewarding?
Coordination ◼️ Fun ◼️ Motor Challenge ◼️ Appropriate for all skill levels ◼️ Sports Performance ◼️ Inexpensive Piece of Equipment ◼️ Low Risk of Injury
I'd be honored to pray for your family on this start to a brand new year! Just ❤ this post if you'd like for me to remember you during my time with Him.

🦶 We're starting the new year off on the right foot. But, then we're going to give the left foot a turn because we believe in muscle symmetry. 😀
Have you ever said it out loud? You know, actually told your kids that they are allowed to fail? Phrases like 'work harder', 'try again', and 'you can do this' just roll right off of our parental tongues.
I repeat them over and over and over again. But I forget to look them in the eyes, put their little hand in mine, and insist that they fail.
Try it. In that moment of facing a new challenge - that first trip to a skating rink or a lesson on reducing fractions - give them permission to fail. Watch the frustration fall away to be replaced with the grit that it takes to fail...until they succeed.

Christmas break is coming up. Are you ready to hear the B word? You know what it is, "Mom, I'm _________!"
Let them be bored; let them find purposeful ways to use their brains to create colorful, whimsical things. Watch them move, build leaning towers from faraway places, and create shredded bits of construction paper debris that litters the floor.
Boredom is so good for the body and brain!
