Mr. Doctor consistently goes above and beyond to support students, inspire learning, and create a positive environment where every child can succeed. His willingness to share his knowledge, mentor others, and step up whenever help is needed makes a meaningful impact on both our students and staff.

My Teacher is Tops | Mrs. Andel preparing special needs students with life skills at Elam Alexander Cheryl Anderson wanted to recognize her son's teacher. Mrs. Katherine Andel teaches Anderson's son Sam, who is autistic and nonverbal.

Elam Alexander Academy is pleased to announce that Katherine Andel has been selected as a 13WMAZ My Teacher is Tops recipient. We are delighted to have her on our faculty and are thrilled that a GNETS educator has received this recognition for her daily devotion to students.

As Red Ribbon Week concludes, the staff and students of Elam Alexander Academy's Burke campus and Adolescent Services marked several occasions: SOAR Spirit Day highlighting the importance of a substance-free life, a Country vs Country Club dress code symbolizing a commitment to being drug-free, a decade-themed celebration with a focus on wellness, a battle against breast cancer with camo and pink dress code, and a Halloween-themed event with the message: Don't let drugs haunt your future!

Our Burke Campus had the opportunity to host a group of Middle Georgia State University students this morning. These prospective teachers got to take a tour and visit several classrooms. We wish them the best of luck as they continue on their educational journey!
