With 14 years in the culinary industry, Macon native Ishmail "Ish" Leitzsey brings experience, creativity and a passion for great food to his role as chef manager with Mercer Culinary Group, at Farmers Market.

For Chef Ish, it’s all about creating a great experience and keeping smiles on students’ faces. When he’s not in the kitchen, you’ll find him spending time with his family—and you might even catch him singing a little! 🎶

His motto? “If you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready.”
