🚀 A Peek Into Our Upward Bound Summer Experience!

This summer, our Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science students will continue learning beyond the classroom through hands-on experiences, college exposure, and STEM exploration.

One exciting stop on our Summer Experience Tour will be the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where students will take part in the Ultimate Field Trip experience.

With NASA’s Artemis II mission recently completing its historic crewed journey around the Moon, this visit comes at the perfect time to inspire our students to dream bigger, explore boldly, and see themselves in the future of STEM. 🌕✨ NASA reports that Artemis II launched April 1, completed a nearly 10-day voyage around the Moon, and splashed down safely on April 10, 2026.

We are looking forward to an unforgettable summer of growth, discovery, and possibility!

A huge congratulations to Destiny Curry and Jeffery Alexander for their outstanding achievement in the Gates Scholarship process!

Both students successfully made it through rigorous interview rounds, showing determination, excellence, and perseverance every step of the way. We proudly celebrate Destiny on being selected as a Gates Scholarship recipient and Jeffery on making it to the final round — an incredible accomplishment in itself.

We had a great time attending Career Day at Weaver Middle School and connecting with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students! 🎉

It was exciting to share what our TRIO programs have to offer and introduce students to opportunities that support academic growth, college and career exposure, and future planning.

We were especially excited to highlight our AI Future Creators Summer Camp — a fun and engaging experience designed to help students explore creativity, innovation, and the future of technology. 🤖✨
