This is what family looks like.

At Living Hope Micro School, we’re more than a school—we’re a family.

Our high schoolers aren’t just the “big kids.” They’re leaders, encouragers, protectors, and role models for our littles. And our k-2nd graders? Well… they’ve clearly decided that being a big kid means getting ALL the hugs. 😂❤️

We love watching these relationships grow across grade levels. Our students learn from one another, look out for one another, celebrate together, and genuinely care for each other.

Because at Living Hope, we’re not just building students—we’re building a community where every child knows they belong. A place to learn. A place to grow. A place to be loved. A family.

Today was such a fun day of cooking with Chef David! 👨‍🍳🍝

Our students did an amazing job creating their own unique pasta dishes with some pretty cool and creative ingredients! It was so much fun watching them learn, experiment, and enjoy the process.

There is something so special about hands-on learning, and learning all about cooking is truly such a joy! We are so thankful to be able to offer this elective to our Living Hope MicroSchool students and give them opportunities to learn skills they can carry with them far beyond the classroom. ❤️

Don’t tell the upper classmen that some of our elementary students were having an ice cream party while they were enjoying their fitness instruction from our CrossFit Trainer volunteer 🤫. I guess I shouldn’t add that it was homemade ice cream with fresh strawberries. 🫣

Our first cooking class was a success. This week Chef David taught our 3rd-12th grade all about pasta! Next week it will be their turn to prepare sauces for us to try!

These K–2nd graders are learning, growing, laughing, and discovering just how much they are loved. We’re so thankful for these little hearts & the amazing teachers who lead them! ❤️
