The Rutland Middle 2025-2026 Female and Male Athlete of the Year awards went to Peyton Wray and Jaylian Wynes. They are pictured with Coach Sandifer at the recent Bibbspy Awards, where Peyton won the top honor for girls at the Middle School level. Congratulations! 🏆💚🧡

🎉 Attendance Matters at RMS! 🎉

This year, we made attendance a priority — and during 2nd semester, we REVVED UP the incentives to encourage our scholars to be present, engaged, and ready to learn each day! 🚀
Throughout the year, students were celebrated with Monthly Perfect Attendance Celebrations for showing commitment and consistency in coming to school every day. Scholars enjoyed exciting incentives such as:

🍧 Ice Cream Bar
🌮 Walking Nachos
🍭 Cotton Candy
🧊 Popsicle Party
🍿 Popcorn Party

During National Attendance Month in March, the excitement reached a whole new level as we launched our Grade Level Cluster Wars! 🏆🔥
Each week, grade level clusters competed to earn the highest attendance percentage for weekly Friday incentives — and the competition throughout the building was MAJOR! Students were motivated, energized, and determined to help their cluster come out on top each week!
We are so proud of our scholars for understanding the importance of showing up, being present, and making attendance count. A very special THANK YOU to our RMS Attendance Breakthrough Team and GEAR UP for partnering together to celebrate and motivate our scholars. Your support helped make these celebrations meaningful and successful for our students! 💙💚🧡💚💙
