Learning goes beyond the classroom. Whether we’re studying together, gaining new leadership skills, learning through service, or growing from the experiences we share, Alpha Sigma Alpha encourages members to stay curious and continue learning throughout every stage of life.

This week, we’re featuring our Alumna Marna, who was initiated into Beta Kappa in 1984. Marna shared how Alpha Sigma Alpha helped her develop leadership and meeting skills that have supported her throughout her career. One of her favorite ASA memories was attending the reinstatement ceremony when Beta Kappa returned to WIU. A special moment that celebrated the chapter’s return and continued legacy.

Christie shared how Alpha Sigma Alpha helped her develop leadership, organization, and project management skills that serve her in her career today. One of her favorite ASA memories was being part of Beta Kappa’s rechartering, and unveiling the chapter charter at the 2016 Alpha Sigma Alpha National Convention. Whether we’re studying together, celebrating milestones, volunteering in our community, or simply spending time together, these moments create friendships that last beyond our college years.

This week, we’re excited to feature Pamm, who was initiated into Beta Kappa in Fall 1994. Pamm shared how Alpha Sigma Alpha helped build her confidence, and gave her lifelong friendships that continue today. Her story is a wonderful reminder that sisterhood doesn’t end at graduation.
