It's been the summer of FFA Officer retreats at Horn Field Campus! This group of FFA leaders are from Triopia High School. They brought leadership skills with them of course, and we then facilitate that extra practice of learning more about group dynamics through our teams course initiatives. It's been awesome meeting so many high school FFA leaders from the region this summer. Thanks for joining us and for spreading the word. Climb on!

What's up Wednesday? A new team member to introduce. Please help me welcome Natasha Lin, a senior at Macomb High School. She brings with her challenge course experience as a two-year participant in the Macomb Youth Leadership Organization (MYLO). Her sights are set on continuing her education after high school to study biology. We're pleased to bring her on board. Climb on, Natasha!

The quality of our program depends upon the quality of our facilitator staff and this trio is doing an excellent job of challenging groups on teams course elements and climbing activities. No matter the weather, they just show up and do great things! Climb on, Sam, Natasha and Noah! You represent Horn well.

We had a special guest visit us yesterday, Mike Robson, ECOEE class of '76, as he wanted a close up look at our challenge course operations. He geared up and successfully completed ground school! Way to go, Mike, and thank you for taking the time to continue to be a part of the life of Horn Field Campus. Climb on!

The sun is shining and the birds are singing. It's a great day to be alive!

New to the team this summer is Sam Powell. Sam is a Macomb High graduate and now a junior at Washington University in St. Louis studying philosophy. He is catching on quickly by shadowing teams courses and he has already been belaying climbers. Sam's favorite part of working at Horn so far is working with such a fun group of facilitators. Welcome, Sam! Happy to have you on our team.
