We are looking for a few great childcare teachers, teacher's aides, floats part-time, or part-days or willing to substitute. Caregivers who are qualified to work with infants through preschool, or school age - after school. Our school age students are participating in a donation drive for the animal shelter. Let's "do all the good you can" by helping our local shelter with these needs! Donations can be dropped off at our office by June 25th.

What a special surprise for our Summer Program kiddos! 🐶💜💛

We had a visit from Ray, the live mascot of Western Illinois University! The children loved meeting Ray, learning about him, and getting the chance to take pictures with such a special guest.

A huge thank you to Ray and his handler for taking the time to visit WCCDC and help make our day extra memorable. We appreciate the connection with our local university and the opportunity to create fun experiences for our students.

Thank you Wesley Christian Child Development Center for letting me come visit this morning and talk about the WIU Live Mascot Program! 🐾

🚧 Traffic Alert for Wesley UMC & Wesley Child Care 🚧

Beginning June 4, road work will take place on W. Calhoun Street between N. Ward and N. Lamoine. The project is expected to last approximately 15 working days (weather permitting).

While the road will not be fully closed, daytime lane restrictions and limited driveway access may affect entry to our campus.

For the safety and convenience of our church members, families, staff, and visitors, we ask that everyone use the Adams Street entrance whenever possible during construction.

Just too let expecting parents know, if you have tried to get on the waitlist for Wesley Christian Child Development Center within the last month or so and was not able to finish the form, please try again. There was an issue with the form, and it had been fixed.

A couple weeks ago during Teacher Appreciation week, I was not at work Monday thru Wednesday. My adult children got a call that if they wanted to see their grandfather they better make the trip to Florida soon. So I asked my Assistant Director if she could cover for me while. I took those three days off so we could all go together.
I am so thankful for Cassy and the rest of the staff for taking care of things so that I could go with my children to see their grandpa one last time (at least on this side of Heaven). 19 hours down and 19 hours back.
And this is the office I came back to, the flowers were beautiful and there are still some balloons floating around my office.Thanks for all you do to make Wesley Christian Child Development Center such a great place to work, I truly appreciate you all! God bless you and keep you and give you peace.
