Chapter Recognition
We are excited to share that the Undergraduate Chapter has earned the Delta Upsilon International Fraternity’s highest honor, the Sweepstakes Award, for the fourth time since 2022. This achievement reflects the dedication of our undergraduates and advisors, whose hard work continues to keep the chapter operating at an exceptional level.

We also extend a special thank-you to Dave Maguire for his ongoing support of the chapter and for helping sustain our organization.

Boiler Fundraiser Update
The undergraduates have shown our alumni what commitment looks like. Now it is our turn to help finish the fundraiser to replace the Chapter House’s 60-plus-year-old boiler and provide the best possible environment for their continued success.

Fundraising progress is strong, but we still need additional support to reach the finish line:
• Current progress: 46.15% of goal
• Total contributions received: $16,153.00
• Remaining amount needed: $18,847.00
• Overall goal: $35,000.00

Can we please get 95 Alumni to step up and donate $200 to bring us over the finish line and show the Chapter Members how much we appreciate their efforts.

Western Illinois Sweepstakes Chapter 2026. The Chapter was awarded the Delta Upsilon Sweepstakes Award for Most Outstanding Chapter at the 2026 Leadership Institute. This will be the Chapter's fourth time in five years that they have received this distinction from the International Fraternity.

As we conclude the annual DU Alumni Work Weekend, I have to give an enormous THANK YOU to everyone in attendance. We accomplished a lot and hopefully set everyone up for a great year.

Greetings to everyone. We are just past the midyear mark, and things will start moving even faster as we continue through the rest of the year. We have reached the coveted Annual Alumni Work Weekend, July 17 – 19 in Macomb. We need as many of you as possible to help make this year a very successful event so we accomplish as much as possible.

Current Top Items for Work Weekend:
1. Finish putting down baseboards in kitchen if not done
2. Move all stuff back into kitchen
3. Spray bug/insect spray in individual rooms
4. Rake all gravel back into parking lot
5. Spray parking lot with vegetation killer
6. Put Quikcrete under front stoop
7. Replace some ceiling tiles in front entrance hallway
8. Flatten dirt hills in front yard left by Ameren
9. Repair steam table
10. Put new b-ball hoop up
11. Break up old furniture to put in dumpster
12. Trim Trees and Vegetation on property

Thank you to everyone who continues to participate in our fundraising campaign as we work to raise the funds to install a proper, up-to-date climate system in the Fraternity House. Something to keep in mind as the weather continues to go through extremes.

To anyone still waiting to contribute, we would deeply appreciate your help in reaching the finish line.

At this point, we need to raise $19,417 to reach our goal of $35,000. This means we are at 44.52% of our goal.

If just 120 brothers donate $160, we would reach our goal. Alternatively, if just 77 brothers donate $250, we would also reach our goal. This is completely achievable and will change so many things for current and future members.

2026 Fall Rush is just around the corner!

This year is going by very quickly, and we are fast approaching our Annual Work Weekend, July 17 – 19. We need as many of you as possible to help make this year a very successful event, so that we accomplish as much as possible.

Thank you to everyone who has tried to help us achieve our goal of replacing the current climate system in the Fraternity House with a modern new system. This update is desperately needed for everyone connected to the Fraternity.

To anyone still waiting to contribute, we would deeply appreciate your help to reach the finish line.

At this point, we just need 200 brothers to donate $110 each to reach our ultimate goal of $35,000.

Several brothers have already donated more than $110 to reflect this, and if just 87 brothers donate $250, we will reach our goal. This is completely achievable and will change so many things for current and future members.
