Alumni of Delta Upsilon - Western Illinois University

This year is going by very quickly, and we are fast approaching our Annual Work Weekend, July 17 – 19. We need as many of you as possible to help make this year a very successful event, so that we accomplish as much as possible.

Thank you to everyone who has tried to help us achieve our goal of replacing the current climate system in the Fraternity House with a modern new system. This update is desperately needed for everyone connected to the Fraternity.

To anyone still waiting to contribute, we would deeply appreciate your help to reach the finish line.

At this point, we just need 200 brothers to donate $110 each to reach our ultimate goal of $35,000.

Several brothers have already donated more than $110 to reflect this, and if just 87 brothers donate $250, we will reach our goal. This is completely achievable and will change so many things for current and future members.

Don’t just gloss over this moment. Step in to make achieving all that we can in this effort possible.

Progress Toward Our Goal

We are moving forward, though cautiously. Soon, we'll need to significantly accelerate our steady progress. Replacing the 66-year-old boiler in the fraternity house with a modern Variable Refrigerant Flow System cannot wait any longer.

We've reached 26% of our fundraising goal, which is encouraging, but we rely on our Alumni to support our undergraduates and help prepare the Chapter House for the future.

Progress Toward Our Goal:

Watching our alumni community steadily advance toward upgrading the 66-year-old boiler in the fraternity house to a modern Variable Refrigerant Flow System is truly motivating. We sincerely appreciate the commitment and generosity shown so far as we join forces to create a more comfortable, energy-efficient chapter environment.

Upon joining DU, we all embraced the founding principles in our daily lives—building Friendships (encouraging strong bonds among members), supporting Character Development (promoting personal growth and moral integrity), cultivating Liberal Culture (inspiring a passion for learning and cultural exchange), and advancing Justice (championing ethical conduct and social justice). These values shape our activities and ethos, nurturing a sense of belonging and dedication to principled action. We continually unite to make meaningful changes and seize opportunities to improve our community.
