Calling all woodwind and brass players! Join the La Moine Brass Quintet and Camerata Nova for WINDFEST 2026: a unique chamber experience where participants will have the opportunity to learn from WIU faculty and participate in chamber music with students from our School of Music community!

Sessions include:
- Instrumental Warm-Ups
- Improvisation games for Musicians
- Regional Exhibitors with instruments and accessories
- Chamber music rehearsal and final concert performance

The Wind Ensemble and Dr. Jett Walker welcomed composer Shelley Foster Gurin and collaborated in recording her trombone feature (with band accompaniment) “Ride That Funky Wave.” Fun was had by all!
