It has been established to help Macks Creek Seniors and Alumni with the opportunity to receive financial aid to further their education.

Scholarship recipients for 2024:

We only received one alumni application so Logan Gallamore will receive that scholarship.
Since only one alumni application was received, the committed agreed to give out three senior scholarships. Those three are Ashlee Klinksick, Caleb Phillips and Leanna Tower.

Sorry this is so late…..

Congratulations to Molly Phillips and Syrena Rector for receiving the Alumni scholarships this year!

The Senior winners were announced during the Senior awards night in May 11. Because of some generous donations we received the committee decided to give out three $500 scholarships. They are going to Vanessa Christian, Marissa Harkey and Chase Whitworth.

Attention Macks Creek School Alumni: The Ben “Skip” Daugherty Memorial Scholarship is due on March 1st. This scholarship is open to graduating students and alumni of Macks Creek School. The alumni scholarship form has been revised. PM Darlene Daugherty to get the revised application or you can still use the application on the school’s website.

Attention all Macks Creek seniors and alumni: Scholarship applications are due March 1st.
Last year we gave two $500 scholarships to seniors and two $500 scholarships to alumni. Not sure exactly what will be given out this year as we did not have a fundraiser but it will be decided at the committee meeting in March.
Applications can be found on the Macks Creek school website at www.mcreek.k12.mo.us
It is under the HS Counselor page. Questions can be directed to Darlene Daugherty

Macks Creek Seniors and alumni: If you are currently enrolled in and education program or plan to further your education, don't forget to apply for the Ben "Skip" Daugherty Memorial Scholarship. All seniors and alumni that are furthering their education are eligible to apply. In the past, we have awarded a $1000 and $500 scholarships to the seniors and the same amount to the alumni.

In order to continue funding this, we are holding a raffle.
Drawing will be March 2016
You need not be present to win.

Items being raffled:
1/2 beef plus processing - tickets are $5 each

The rest of the items are $1 each:
$500 cash
Savage Axis II XP 270 Win Rifle with Weaver Kaspa scope
RCA 55-inch HD TV
Keurig 2.0 K350 brewer
2 deer table lamps

We are currently working on this year's fundraiser. We decided on a raffle this year...we currently have several items and waiting on answers from several others!

Here are the items we currently have on hand to raffle:

1/2 beef donated by Thoenen Ag Sales; processing donated by Head to Hoof
Keurig 2.0 brewer donated by Darlene Daugherty
RCA 55-inch TV donated by Ben Sr & Florene Daugherty
$500 cash donated by Doug Kempker and Daugherty Deer Camp

We are hoping to add several items to this list. They will be added as we get them.

Tickets are $1 each except for the beef, which will be $5 each. Sales will begin December 8th at the Macks Creek boys home game.
