Hello Dance North Family!
Mom, myself and everyone from the Dance North Summer Intensive and Performance are sending you and yours the best in health and happiness during this challenging time. Checking in on our crew! We know how much you are missing your studio time, the joy of dancing with your best mates and creating art in the presence of other dancers. We are too, BIG TIME!
It’s so wonderful to see all of the online dance action so many people are kicking out right now. Your crazy awesome tick tok’s and posts rock, It's been incredible to see so much creativity transfer to the internet in new forms of creativity. Keep it up, we will too!
With a very heavy heart, we are announcing a pause for the 2020 workshop Intensive August 3-7. With every breath we would love to host our Intensive, Bringing Broadway and Beyond to the Bridge continuously since 2001, this year we have decided that the safety and health of our dancers, parents and friends outweighs the incredible desire to gather, hug you all, see and spark your talents up close. The venue for our public performance (Heritage Park, on the waterfront in Mackinaw City) which includes us on the bill every season, has cancelled the summer concert series altogether. As our five days culminates 'workshop style' to realize in performance, doing our part, we will adhere to these public safety precautions and look toward 2021 to hold our 19th season! The decision to hold on 2020 was not an easy one.
We’ll be back after doing our part to quell the spread of Covid-19, responsibly. 2021 Strong!!
Refunds for anyone who has signed up already we will get to you or you can hold over to the next year if you choose to do so. Please let me know your preference by contacting me directly by using the e mail [email protected] If you have already signed up. I may not receive all messages on FB or messenger, so please use the e-mail. ALL 2019 Scholarship recipients will hold over until next summer of course, also Senior Solos in from 2020 will be able to join in the 2021class in performance!
