Jon Novak Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is for the amount of $500 and awarded to the student seeking advanced education in fields of teaching, industrial arts or other trade school. The student has to have participated in a JV/Varsity sport as an athlete, manager, or trainer and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Kris Leix Memorial Scholarship
Kris Leix was a devoted and respected English teacher for 20 years at Harlem High School. Her personalized approach to the subject content, her emphasis on positive values and moral integrity, and her passionate gift of reaching out to students from all walks of life were trademarks of her professionalism. This $1000 award is made possible through the many contributions of Harlem colleagues and friends and the Leix family. The award is given toward college expenses to an applicant who maintains a 3.0 GPA, demonstrates motivation, good character and enthusiasm in the classroom, and extracurricular activities. Harlem Scholarship Foundation Scholarship

This fund was established to award multiple scholarships to Harlem graduates wishing to continue their education at a vocational school or college/university. Scholarships are granted primarily based on financial need. The selection committee, however, also considered the student’s educational goal, his/her preparation, planning, and desire to achieve his/her goals.

Don Allen Memorial Scholarship
Don Allen was a teacher, counselor, and coach at Harlem for many years. He loved everything about being a part of the education profession. His enthusiasm, smile, and love for all kids just showed in everything he did. One of his true passions during his career was coaching women's basketball. He loved it and it showed in the interaction he had with his player. This scholarship is for a female student who played basketball at Harlem and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Harlem Class Scholarships
Class of 1959 Scholarship. The recipient of this scholarship must be a graduating senior with a GPA of 3.0 and in good standing. The student needs to exemplify leadership, compassion for others, and a love for Harlem and our community.
Class of 1964 donated this scholarship to help further post secondary education of a graduating senior at Harlem High School. The requirements are a cumulative GPA of 3.0. The student must all make a contribution to the school and other students through participation in extracurricular activities

Dr. Julie Morris Empower Scholarship
This scholarship of $1,000 was established by the Administrators of the Harlem School District. It is open to any student of color and applicants for this scholarship will be selected based on what “empower” means and how they will think, speak, and act as embarking upon the journey of adulthood. Monday is the deadline to apply for the scholarships within Harlem Scholarship Foundation!

Fran Cronberg Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Fran Cronberg, an elementary teacher for the Harlem School District for many years and an avid writer of short stories and poems. She was a person that loved working with young people and as an elementary education teacher did all that she could to help them move to the next level of their education. This award is given to a student who has an interest in elementary education or journalism. They also must have achieved a GPA of 2.75 or higher and attended Harlem High School at least their junior and senior years.

The Jerry Fisher Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship will be honoring one of the biggest supporters Harlem as ever had- Jerry Fisher. He was a teacher and long time principal of this High School. He was extremely instrumental in the design and construction of the high school. We all know Principal Fisher was an individual that valued post secondary education and this scholarship will be given to a student with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above and pursuing a degree in the field of education or science

Carl A. and Patricia Lee Huskie Pride Scholarship
This scholarship was established in memory of Carl Lee, an avid supporter of Harlem athletics and educational programs. While serving as president of the school board, Mr. Lee was instrumental in building both Harlem High School and Olson Park School. This award is given to a student who has exemplified Harlem pride through exceptional dedication and hard work to his/her sport/team while also supporting other Harlem athletics, shown leadership in a school club or activity, has achieved a 3.0 GPA, and has attended Harlem High School for four years.

Erik Johnson Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in memory of a former Harlem graduate from the Class of1997-Erik Johnson. He was a young man that represents all we hope for in Harlem students. He was academically successful, involved in school, enjoyed the high school experience, and was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. The recipient of this scholarship must be a graduating senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and someone who demonstrated motivation, good character, and enthusiasm in the classroom and extra-curricular activities.
