City of Rockford Government highlights one of our club Members Emily Christensen, The Norwegian. Shout out to her and her amazing crew. I had the honor of meeting Emily at the North End City Market and she's been a grand supporter of our composting club ever since. We work with the Chefs there to collect food waste and process the organic material into nutrient rich compost. Compost which can be used to feed your garden soil and increase yields in the fields!

She's building community the right way!

Happy June! This month marks the beginning of our weekly (4x/month) pick up schedule. With the garden season underway, fresh produce is abundant, and food scraps will require more frequent collection. We will see you on Wednesdays!
