MISD Central Elementary

10/08/2026

Good afternoon, Central Families!

We wanted to make you aware that Central Elementary was placed on a brief HOLD this morning. The situation was quickly resolved, and normal campus operations resumed.

At no time was the safety of our students or staff compromised.

We appreciate your continued support as we work to keep Central a safe and secure place for everyone!

Principal, Central Elementary

🐷💚 Farm Fresh Fun at Central! 💚🐷

A HUGE thank you to Jump Family Farms for bringing some very special visitors to Central as part of our Farm Fresh Challenge! Our Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grade students loved getting an up-close look at these sweet little pigs! 🐽

Thank you to the MISD Child Nutrition Department for making this hands-on learning experience possible for our students!

And as you can see from the pictures… pigs are VERY snuggly! 🥹🐷💚

We love learning experiences that our kids will remember! 🐾
