🎓 SHE DID IT! Congratulations, Lacey Barker! 🎓

What an absolute honor it has been having Lacey in our Esthetics program.

From day one, this woman was on a mission. She showed up every single day. She stayed late. She came in on Saturdays. She stayed busy, helped the people around her, and just kept moving forward.

And today, she officially became the fastest student in Summit Salon Academy Mabank history to complete all 750 hours of our Esthetics program! 👏

But what impressed us most wasn’t just how fast she finished…it was how she did it.

Discipline is simply part of who Lacey is. She’d run 3 miles before work, bring her meals every day, take care of herself, take care of her clients, help her classmates, and then come back the next day ready to do it all over again.

She never stopped. She never slowed down. She was a MACHINE. 💪

Lacey, thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. Your work ethic, heart, and determination left a mark on this school, and we’re incredibly proud of you.

Now go do what you’ve been preparing to do. The Esthetics world just gained a special one. 🤍

After mastering the solid form haircut, our students leveled up today with Workshop #2: the graduated form using diagonal back sections.

Each step builds on the last—strengthening technique, improving body positioning, and boosting confidence behind the chair 💇‍♂️💇‍♀️

A new chapter begins! 🙌
Phase 1 is in the books, and our students have officially entered Phase 2! Today they completed their first hands-on haircut workshop, focusing on the one-length (solid form/0°) haircut. Every technique they’ll learn builds from this foundation, and we’re excited to watch their confidence and skills grow one haircut at a time.

Today, a group of our students had the opportunity to tour The Barber Station @ Serenity! 💇‍♀️💇‍♂️💈✨

Experiences like these give our students a firsthand look at what it takes to build a successful career in the beauty and barbering industry. Seeing professionals at work, learning about the day to day operations, and hearing real-world advice is an invaluable part of their education.
