Caring for children is one of the greatest joys in life. There is nothing that can compare to the laughter of a child or the excitement they show when telling them a story or discovering something new. I have been doing childcare here at my present location since Aug of 2009. I am providing this care from my comfortable non smoking home, very close to the elementary school. Transportation to nearb

y schools and parks will be by foot, so no need to worry about your child's safety in a car or concern about proper buckling. My home has a large fenced yard with plenty of grass, sunshine and shade. The kids also enjoy helping with our discovery daycare garden and have access to a large sandbox and outside toys. A little about me... I have been a mother for over 25 years and have 4 children, mostly grown, so it's nice to have little ones around to fill the emptying nest. My background training was in psychology with an emphasis on child development. I'm compassionate, caring and relate very well to little kiddos on their level. Your child will get a plethora of cognitive, physical and social opportunities daily. We do crafts and projects, science experiments, musical expression through instruments, dance, movement and/or singing. Sharing, taking turns, cooperating, motor coordination and balance, managing conflict, developing self-image and expression, listening and retention, imaginative, conversing language growth, developing abstract thinking, visual perceptions and imitation, are all areas your child will grow in.
