Our champion, Merari “La Dinamita” Vivar, is home recovering after being the victim of a senseless shooting. While we’re thankful she’s alive, her road to recovery will take time, and she’ll be unable to fight and earn a living.

Join us this Saturday, July 11 at 12 PM at New Generation Boxing Academy for a fundraiser featuring live sparring, food, drinks, and raffles.

Family and fans, I know a lot of you are asking about the outcome of Josiah’s championship fight. Based on the scorecards, we truly believe Josiah won. In round 1, 4 judges scored for Josiah; round 2, it was split with 2 for him; round 3, 3 for him. But, in USA Boxing, they randomly select 3 out of the 5 judges’ scores to decide each round. So, even though Josiah fought his heart out and looked like the winner, the decision went to his opponent. We’re so proud of you, Josiah, no computer can define your dream.
