Pacific Northwest Chapter of WAEYC We are professional organization that support early childhood educators in the work to promote and provide developmentally appropriate teaching practices.

Pacific Northwest Chapter of WAEYC (formerly SCAEYC) is a nonprofit made up of friends and followers representing a community of early childhood educators, policymakers, family services organizations and others focused on the welfare and education of young children. Engage with us on this page to share your experiences, ask questions, and interact with others. If you have questions, concerns, or need assistance from a board member, please email us. In keeping with the spirit of community, please follow the principles when posting to the SCAEYC wall:

(4) Do not use the wall to advertise or sell products or services, solicit others for commercial purposes, or for self-promotion. (5) Respect the privacy of others, particularly the children and families you work with. (6) Do not share other's personal information unless you have their consent. (7) Do not post photos of children or material of others unless you have their permission. (8) Do not post material that slanderous, defamatory, threatening, or infringes a copyright or trademark. (9) Remember that postings reflect the opinions and beliefs of the posters and do not necessarily represent the views of SCAEYC. (10)SCAEYC reserves the right to delete any post for any reason.
