Education Funding Is at Risk — Take Action by March 5

Washington State PTA is alerting families to potential education funding cuts, even as state revenue rises.

Watch this brief update from WSPTA Advocacy Director Megan Larkin to learn more about the potential impact on vulnerable children and schools statewide.

This broader funding conversation also affects parent education and cooperative preschool programs within Washington’s Community & Technical Colleges. These programs support thousands of families and play an important role in early learning, family engagement, and community stability.

Fill it out even if you think you might not qualify for free/reduced meals.

Every school year you will need to complete a new meal application.

Meal applications are so important for not only no cost meals for eligible students, but crucial funding comes from them as well. Eligible student will also have the opportunity for fee waivers for academic, asb, parking, graduation tickets and more.
