Project Night Sky

Project Night Sky Dedicated to awareness and preservation of the night sky we all share. Our mission is to develop relationships between individuals and the sky we all share.

To accomplish this, we have a three-pronged approach. First, we offer astronomy education outreach to any and all who are interested. Second, we create awareness about our dwindling night skies, due to light pollution. Third, we conduct research about the archaeological roots of astronomy and it's cultural significance.

Happy Cosmonautics Day, everyone!

63 years ago, Yuri Gagarin became the first man in space, riding in a Vostok 1 capsule to low-Earth orbit. This holiday was established a year after Gagarin's flight in the Soviet Union, and has since become an international holiday, celebrating human spaceflight as a whole.
