Natick SEPAC is proud to partner with SPARK Kindness for an interactive event, Building Executive Functioning Skills, with nationally recognized executive function expert, educator, and speaker Sarah Ward. Participants will learn how to support young people in organizing materials, managing time, breaking tasks into manageable steps, creating effective routines, and taking greater ownership of their responsibilities.

For parents, caregivers, educators, and community members who support children and teens of all ages.

This immersive simulation guided by literacy leader Terrie Noland, Ph.D., CALT, places parents and educators in the learner’s seat, allowing them to experience the emotional side of learning when tasks feel difficult, confusing, or out of reach.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of what their child(ren) or student(s) may feel during the school day and beyond, and how it can shape confidence, engagement, and willingness to learn.

The session will be delivered in a personable, easy to understand format with the goal of strengthening relationships between DDS and the community they serve.

The Northeast Transition Collaborative Network (NTCN) connects families, educators, and providers in the Massachusetts Northeast Region to support youth transitioning from school to adult services. Our goal is to unify resources, offer trainings, and create a collaborative space to promote person-centered planning and successful outcomes.
