Lynnfield Community Schools

Lynnfield Community Schools Community Schools offers a variety of activities including Before/After School Childcare & Enrichment Child Care starts at 6:50 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m.

The primary function of LCS is to provide child care to the school-aged children in Lynnfield. Each elementary school has a before and after school child care program on location. During February and April vacation we offer child care and camp-style programs during the week. Community Schools also offers after school enrichment programs for school-aged children. Most of the programs are held right

at the schools. Classes can range from chess, cooking, yoga, ceramics, sports, filmmaking, and more! We are constantly changing and adding new programs. These are offered through out the school year. Check out our website for more details. During the summer, LCS offers: Summer Of Fun Activities (S.O.F.A). The weeks of summer vacation are broken down into morning (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) and afternoon (12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.) one week theme-based activities. We also have a before camp early drop off at 7:30 a.m. and an after camp child care until 5:00 p.m. We start as young as 2.9 years old and go all the way up through middle school! We have quite a variety of programs to offer for all ages and interests. Many of our staff, both adults and high school/college-aged, work in the schools during the year (including the preschools!), so they are familiar faces to the children.
