Twelve Tough Questions and a Pastor’s Response is the newest book by St. Pius Class of 1973 alumnus Very Reverend David O’Leary, VF, S.T.L., D.Phil.

In it, Fr. O’Leary answers real questions from Catholics on faith, suffering, conscience, and human dignity, drawing on decades of pastoral ministry and theological study.

Readers have found the book insightful, comforting, and meaningful, with some describing it as a gift they’ve shared with people going through hard times.

Fr. O’Leary was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Boston in 1985 and earned a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and spent 15 years as University Chaplain at Tufts University. He was later knighted as a titular Canon of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, the highest Papal honor given to laity and priests for service to the Church. He currently serves as Pastor of the Catholic Collaborative of Concord-Carlisle.

- Kindergarten Family Meet & Greet: August 12th, 9:30-10:30am
- Back to School Event for all Families: Wednesday, September 2nd from 3-5pm (Come anytime in that window!)
- First Day of School for Grades 1-8: Wednesday September 9th
- First Day of School for PreK & Kindergarten: Monday, September 14th.

We love reading about the wonderful and inspiring things members of our school and wider community are doing!

This article highlights the work of Lynn Disability Network, founded by Louise Dominique to give kids with disabilities a judgment-free space to learn and play. Their programs, like cooking classes, help build confidence and connection.

Pictured in the article is Louise Dominique with school parent Chef Michel and rising St. Pius 4th grader Izem during a cooking class offered through the organization.

The article also spotlights rising St. Pius 6th grader Sophia Peña, who dedicated her annual book drive to the network this year, collecting children's books on autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and more to help spread understanding in our community.
